FAQ

Q: What is physical therapy?

A: Physical therapy is a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities as well as patient-education, which facilitates healing while empowering the patient to maintain their own wellness.

Q: Am I a good candidate for physical therapy?

A: Your physician should be able to tell you if you are a good candidate. If you are still unsure, you can call us at 1-505-984-9101 and set up a 15min consultation with one of our physical therapists.

Q: How much does a visit cost?

A1: Each insurance plan varies. The fastest way to find out how much out-patient physical therapy will cost is to call the “customer service phone number” on the back of your insurance card. Follow the prompts until you speak to a representative. They should be able to answer all of the questions for your plan.
A2: Or $100 if you choose to pay out of pocket.

Q: Do I need a physician’s prescription to receive therapy?

A: Most insurances require you to have a prescription. It is the policy of this clinic that each patient has a prescription from a physician unless they are seen on a self-pay basis.

Q: How long is an appointment?

A: Each appointment has a duration of approximately 1 hour

Q: How do I get an appointment?

A1: Please call 1-505-984-9101 to schedule your appointment. Please have your insurance card or your adjuster’s contact information ready for us to take over the phone.
A2: You can also ask your physician’s office to fax us a prescription (1-505-984-8998). Please be sure to have them include your phone number on the fax so that we can contact you.
